2026 Northern California Clinical Conference

Law and Disorder: Clinicians Meeting the Moment in California and Beyond

Genuine transformation begins at the grassroots level, where individuals from diverse backgrounds unite. In today’s landscape, the fractures that create insecurity and fear can be met with unwavering resolve, resilience, and a clear vision. The ongoing assaults on social justice serve not only as challenges but also as pivotal moments for resistance, offering us the opportunity to grow stronger together.

WHERE

We’re now accepting proposals for presentations and works in progress!

The Committee welcomes proposals related to academic freedom, the pedagogy of resistance, the intersection of legal clinical advocacy and organizing, technology for legal transformation, the rule of law, and other related topics. This conference is hosted in Northern California but open to clinicians across the state and nation. We invite you to think about what makes Northern California’s Legal Education Ecosystem stand out, if anything? What lessons can we learn from clinicians outside of California and export from California?

This conference promises to be an invaluable opportunity for collaboration and innovation in the clinical field. Let’s come together to tackle the pressing issues we face in Clinical Legal Education in the current moment.
